I am currently in more or less the same situation having just had my ears pierced about two months ago. I was told one month was the point at which I am allowed to change my earrings, although I've read websites that recommend 6 weeks.
I'm finding that it's really not the timing that is the issue, but that the cleanliness of your earrings and risk of infection whenever you reinsert your earrings that will cause the most trouble. One hour is not a big deal. I recently started sleeping without my earrings which is so much more comfortable.
Make sure that if she is taking off her earrings during school that she has rubbing alcohol and/or antibacterial soap to clean both her ears and the earrings to keep them from getting irritated. I like to use hydrogen peroxide when my ears are still bleeding or itchy.
Good Luck!

It is possible they will close, more likely they're going to shrink considerably making it hard if not impossible to put the jewelry in w/o force. Go to a piercing studio and see if they have acrylic retainers (unlikely they'll have them in a standard gun post size of 18g though) but odds are if they will not let her wear studs then any type of jewelry in her ears is going to be a no-no. You could use fishing line to hold open the holes but it may be hard to get into the ear.

NO! You are not supposed to remove them before the date they told you. If it is after that date.. you may be able to remove them for VERY short periods of time. Also.. Im not into soccer, but if they would let her (if this isnt what she has already) try putting studs in, instead. HOPE THAT HELPS!!!

it should be fine, if it's really a concern see if you can run a thread through the hole and tie it loosely just to keep something in there, my friend did this for her son when he had his ear pierced and was in foot ball

i would think that is fine... 6weeks in usually the recommended time u should keep them in before changing them... so they wont close up after an hour... but you could always change to studs and but a plaster over it... its what i used to do with my cartiledge piercings at school.

You can if healing process has gone well. Do not force them back in because you may end up with another hole.

I don't think they'll close up in an hour. However, they might let her put bandaids on them while playing.

eh not a good idea. even if they don't close up completely, it will be a pain to put back in.
see if you could put bandaids over her ears.
good luck!
