I'm a Conservative who's leveled plenty of criticism at Ray "School Bus" Nagin, but on this, I think he's entirely correct. I think he could have said it in a more diplomatic fashion, but what he stated is a fact: Five years after 9/11 Ground Zero is still a hole in the ground.

It didn't have to be this way. Right after the attack I fully expected to see the replacements topped out within three years, as an act of defiance if for no other reason. I think all the sniping and bickering that's gone on in New York is a national disgrace, and it's about time someone pointed that out.

Mayor Nagin is a looser and doesn't want anyone to know it.

He knows that he dropped the ball and let his people down. He is a horrible leader.

Is there a chocolate factory in NYC? Willy Nagin might want to stick to cleaning up his own mess.

Nagin is like an out of work teacher. No class.

To deflect attention of his poor job.

Riots, lootings and crimes shortly after 9/11 in NYC = 0.
Riots, lootings and crimes shortly after Katrina in NO = 1000+.
