She's crazy but she's also an excellent liar and con. She can convince just about any body on anything. My problem is I am honest and don't want to hurt anybody.

I know a person just like that and it is rather sad. Nothing really you can do but tell her to get help. If she refuses then you might want to seperate and try tough love. She is not only damaging people around her she is also damaging herself with having to live the way she is living. There is no way she can feel good about herself doing those things to others. It will always be in the back of her mind that she is lying and conning others. I have to say before I met my husband if someone was to accidentally give me more change at the store I would not say anything. I seen my husband get a lot more money then he was suppose to be getting and he told the waitress that she gave him to much money. He explained to me that honesty is the best policy and you feel good doing it at the same time. I now live my life the same way.

I'd reccomend therapy, but if she's really a great liar then she could probably BS her way out of it.
Hey, did you notice that the women in this thread are acting like you should stay with her forever, even if she's gone crazy? I bet their responses would be different if a woman was in your shoes....
Sorry, on topic: Don't stay with her if it's just because you don't want to hurt anyone, you could end up being stuck with a crazy woman your whole life. Also, it indicates that your will is being broken.

I am REALLY sorry for all that you are going through. It is so hard because you love her and feel that if you left her that would be like a slap in the face. Nobody wants to see someone they love go through this. Handle this carefully but ask her whats on her mind. And be sure to tell her how all her crap makes you feel. Trust me, I am married also and I can understand what your feeling. I know that she has lied a lot but give her ONE chance to shed some light on why she lies so much. You can test to see just how crazy she is. Google "anti social behavior disorder". Click on the second entry to get the list. 7 symptoms determine the condition, 3 is a diagnosis. Unfortunately, this condition is rarely successfully treated since the people who have it, don't realize that their behavior is off. Decide for yourself if she falls in the category. Then decide for yourself if you wish to continue to live with her.....It has nothing to do with intelligence....Very bright people are/can be psychopaths (the old term for this problem).

Be patient and work thought her problem. Be there for her. Take her to therapy. She might be doing things that are hurting you and the relationship but if she’s ill, not sane she doesn’t know what she’s doing. Be more tolerant. Teach by example and love her and be there for her "in sickness and in health". Above all be strong so you can take her to therapy even if she doesn’t want to

I have looked crazy in the eye...it is not pretty. So you don't want to hurt anyone, eh? When you wake up one night with the damn bed on fire and her standing over you with an axe you won't give one s*it about her feelings, dude.

Well, if you can't deal with a wife who is a liar, conartist, crazy, mad woman then you should probably seperate yourself from her for a while.
