If the USA settles our problem with the muslims would this hurt the budgets for: Military, Homeland Security ?

We spend close to $350 billion on defence and another 34 Billion on Homeland Security plus another 30 Billion on our intelligence services. Should we not talk to these poor muslim countries and find out what their problem is so we do not have to spend all this money and use it instead to help poor Americans at home.

I think big business wants us to be constantly at war because they make money no matter what is being sold. Why should we be responsible for world peace. Why are we spending all this money and still the world hates us. I don't think kicking asss is the awnser. We should use diplomacy and save ourselves a lot of money. If somebody wants to fight let them. We should focus on enjoying God's blessings to America.

The Republicans will always fund defense especially after 9/11 which was a surpise attack. Can you say where the next surprise attack will come from? No you cannot so now we are on a constatnt state of preparedness. I am a Muslim convert born in the US. I pay takes and obey the laws. The US fight is not with more than 1 billion Muslims, the fights is with fanatics who just happen to claim a certain religion as their own.

If it was only USA, the problem would have been long settled. The problem is triangular:
USA-muslim nations-Israel. if Usa sides with Israel, muslims are offended and if sides with Muslims Israel is offended. Muslims are very peaceful people. The media is false alarming the whole world, by representing Muslims as terrorists. There are terrorist in every nation on earth. Peace can only be brought to earth if we stop blaming others and start soul searching our selves. USA should be the role model for other countries, but unfortunately we are doing just the opposite. Our survival is by reducing the enemies, not by multiplying them.

Big business doesn't want war since war is only a very short time source of profits and not very good profits at that...

Why not ask what is the exit strategy for the, 'War On Poverty", the massive shift of wealth from the producers of wealth to the parasites, the wasters of wealth?

After all isn't $8 trillion enough?

What part of the Constitution mandates the federal government to steal from the productive to pander to the parasitic?

I think the Federal fuel tax per gallon of gas should be equal to (the total dollars we spend on the military) divided by (the total number of gallons of gasoline we all buy within the US). If most of the military budget is spent on protecting our oil interests on foreign oil and we all have to pay that much more on gasoline because of having to get from a hostile area of the world that requires us to have a military to protect those interests, we'd all figure out a way to not buy gasoline anymore and if we didn't need to buy that much (foreign) gasoline anymore, we could spend that much less on the military and we could tell the hostile middle eastern countries to kiss our *** and they can drink all that oil. Part of that problem is that not all of our military budget is spent on oil interests, some of it is spent on domestic protection and some of it is used to enforce commercial contracts with our companies setting up factories in other countries.

The US used to be respected and looked up to by the world......this administration has had that "Texas swagger" and tough talk for the last 6 years. No one is impressed, not even those of us in the US. All we have done is create more Muslim terrorists........there used to be some..........but now they feel justified!!!! Let's try this.... Islam --- the Koran --- prophesied in writing --infidels either need to be converted or to be killed. Islam will be the 1 and only religion in the entire world. If you do not believe you will be killed. The government will be Islamic religious leaders.
Religion and government will be one in the same.
