OH MAN! what a question! the 70s pumped out too many great songs to mention. It was the best era for Rock and R&B, and disco was HUGE back then.

My mind is reeling just thinking about all the great tunes, and people still listened to WAX. I miss albums with a passion! all those fab covers.

I agree with the songs you've listed, especially Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding. Elton John & Bernie Taupin were and still are masters of the singer/songwriter category. What a masterpiece!

For the record, "Sweet Emotion" was released in April of 1975, on Aerosmith's third album "Toys in the Attic". Also for the record, "Jailbreak" was by Thin Lizzy, the title song on the album of the same name.

My favorite songs are too numerous to mention.
