Philosophy does not set out to baffle - quite the opposite.
If you are baffled by philosophy, it might be the philosopher's (or the philosophy teacher's) fault, or it might be your fault.
The philosopher might be poor at expressing his ideas.
The teacher might be confused, or just going through the motions.
You might lack the attention span or maturity needed to study philosophy. Or you might not be inclined to abstract thinking.
Philosophy is not an easy subject, but it sets out to clarify and enable thinking, not to baffle it.

time
past time doesnt exist
future time doesnt exist
and present time is just the dot of no dimension, the nothing, the zero, the imaginary line, between past and future [neither of which exists]
baffling enough?
an arrow at a point in its flight
it cant be there for any length of time, or it would be motionless
and it cant be there for zero time, or it wouldnt be there

Kill them all!! Let the so called gods sort them out!! Fight your own fight and you will win the battle, eventually even the war!!
Don't let ideaologies influence what you feel inside, do what you believe is right, and do not try to gain the confidence of others through beliefs......an open mind will never be closed. Be yourself and be free.

It makes no sense to oppose abortion if you believe in heaven and hell, right? Abortion would keep the soul of the fetus out of hell. The fetus would never have a chance to sin or be born into sin.
If even 10% of people end up in hell, then 20 million abortions keeps 2,000,000 souls from eternally burning in hell.
This is assuming you believe in all that souls, heaven, and hell crap..
