PMS is a hormonal imbalance that you can't control by yourself
You should consult your doctor about what will help you the most . Everyone thinks only about how they feel when someone else has PMS not about how the person with PMS feels.
It is a horrible feeling knowing that you're irritable and etc and not being able to control it. You're nerves are on end...you feel guilty
about how you are acting which depresses you, plus you're cramping and bloated. Some people joke about it, but it is no joking matter when you're going through it.

OMG! don't get me started, sure there are pills and all that junk to help it, but do u ever think that guys are the only ones who have to put up with ****, when we have pms we can feel sad and mad within minutes and it doesn't feel good, and we can get food cravings and pain that hurts so bad u want to shoot urself, having to put up with some moodiness is nothing, i mean how would u feel if u craved weird food and was in pain and was bleeding from below and u couldn't do a damned thing about it, it wouldn't be fun at all....try to look at it in our point of view, i don't mean to preach either, but it just seems that guys think they have it hard when it comes to pms, i think the best thingu can do is put up with it, it doesn't last all that long, its just one of those things u gotta be able to put up with

PMS is a hormonal imbalance prior to a woman begining her cycle everymonth. She must see her Gyn and get on some medicine, but in the meantime what helps me and I suffer from PMS really bad is an over the counter diuretic and Giradelli's Dark Chocolate squares. One bite of that and it relaxes me immediately.

She should be taking a B vitamin supplement as well as calcium, magnesium and vitamin D. Getting enough sleep and doing some sort of physical activity helps. Beyond that, you can control your expectations and learn to respect her moods. We always want people to behave properly so we don't have to do the hard work of adjusting our own responses and behavior. But, that just isn't real life! Learn how to ride her emotional waves.

If she is open to suggestions (when she's not PMSing) tell her I said to go to the health food or vitamin store and get black cohash. It usually comes in a mixture with some other calming things like chamomile.

A calcium supplement has been recommended, but I would suugest seeing a doctor first.
A good arm-swinging walk seems to help some women.

Goodness. I do that too. I would just tell her ok... ok. What can you do for her. Let her vent. She can't maybe help it.
I think that having her relax and take a bubble bath would help and then when she says that she can't because she has to do this and that, say that you'll do it for her....
Or, I guess you could just leave.

It's in the type of foods you eat before your period. I don't know the exacts but you can do some searching on it and find tons of stuff. I know there's something with the amount of caffeine and salt you consumer before your period. Check it out.
