Former payee did not do her job, or the office where she deals with does not get things done in a timely manor. I am getting letters that she should be gettitng. I was not the payee during that time of over payment.

The payee was his mother, and she has been on her cycle for the last 2 months. So she has not seen her mail for that long. I am at wits end right now.

Yes we have done both. I learn from the last letter that it is HER fault that she did not do what she was suppose to be doing.

She came to visit and she was suprised that her brother walked right into the office and got information right away and was helped. She has tried to get an appointment by cerified letter and has not been able to get in. BUT yet she can take off on her harley and go accross country and do as she pleases. She has not been home for 2+ months.

have you called the old payee and social security if you havent you should but i think as his new payee you must take care of it because you control his money you can try to file for hardship this will make them take less money from him

first of all you need to call the Social Security office and tell them who the payee is for this person and that should help you some.
I am on SSI and believe me when the SSA want the money back they will collect it any way possible I went through this myself.
I would let the Social Security help you with this.
