There's no such thing as being born on a cusp and having a Sun sign that is a combination of two signs.

Your Sun sign is either Gemini or Cancer, not both. If you provide me with your place of birth, that along with your date of birth and exact time of birth, I will determine your true Sun sign. I suspect it's a Gemini Sun sign, but only a correct birth chart will tell you for sure.

As for compatibility, yes you can look at Sun sign compatibility between two people, but that's a small part of Synastry (relationship Astrology). You must look at the rest of your charts as well. Both of your entire charts must be taken into account.

Conjunctions (0°), trines (120°) and sextiles (60°) aspects between Sun signs are considered favourable. Oppositions (180°) bring attraction but some competition is involved as well. Squares (90°) are generally tense and inconjuncts (150°) require adjustments.

Any sign can be with any other sign. It all depends on your whole chart, based on your DATE, PLACE, EXACT TIME of birth, not just your Sun signs.

For a female's chart you can look to the Sun and Mars and their aspects for what types of males they are attracted to.

For a male's chart you and look to the Moon and Venus and their aspects for what types of females they are attracted to.

You are a Gemini, however there are other planets besides your sun sign that could make you more compatible with a Scorpio or Libra. Likewise the Libra/Scorpio cusp you mentioned might have other planets in signs that ‘click’ with your planets. Have a search on the Internet for free natal chart.
