There are some theories that said he was part Jewish, but I don't think that matters.
Jews were already unpopular, though at a mostly subconscious level. Hitler just brought it out. He didn't need people to hate Jews specifically; he just needed people to hate *somebody*. That way he could rally and unite them -- manipulate them -- to do anything he wanted.

Jews have commonly been scapegoats by European Christian society, Hitler just took did it in mass. The pogroms display that it was what they wanted to do anyhow, all the locals needed was someone to ask them to do it. If you are doing work on Hitler read his book Mein Kamf. It is quite clear that he was just jelous of Jewish success, as was much of Germany and decided to portray the following point without actually saying it: Why let the Jews have our money? Kill them, take their money and we'll make the money they are making. I don't mean to sound critical but Hollywood has deceived that the Nazi's came from Mars. They were Germans. The German people formed an army and even the locals willingly harmed the Jews as they were being taken away and took their possesions and homes. Someone I know was leaving and had a stone thrown at her only to turn around to see it was her neighbor. It makes you really wonder who your friends are.
Saying it was all propeganda is an excuse to hide the evil because the world can't cope with the fact that millions of people openly supported the murder and inhumane torture of a people. How can propeganda be blamed? We are all influenced by society. In that case, no one is ever to be blamed for any murder and all trials are useless. The soldiers were in a much more dangerous position than the public for supporting the "vision" and if they were tried and found guilty then certainly the German public was.

Well, the answer to this question would take an entire semester.
You need to search HITLER on Google or some other search engine. You will find PLENTY of info.
Bringing the answer down to the bare bones, Germany was suffering thru the depression just as the U.S. and many other countries were. Germany was dysfunctional and there was much unemployment. The Socialists (Communists) wanted to take power, as well as other political parties.
Hitler needed a scapegoat. He needed to find something that all Germans could hate together, thus uniting Germany. Hitler chose the Jews.
He also brainwashed Germans into thinking they were a superhuman race. Making the Germans believe these two theories supercharged the Germans (especially those in the Nazi party) into a fury of hatred and a hunger for conquest of the world.
That is pretty basic. Do as I suggest. Search the Internet. You will find much there.

You need to read Hitler's book - ''Mein Kampf'' - basically Hitler wanted a 'pure' race country, that is only Aryan people, people with blonde hair and blue eyes. He also disliked the Jews because they were upsetting the harmony of Germany in many ways, financially, culturally and ethnically, they gathered into ghettoes and only liked to do business between themselves. For good background reading you should read Charles Dickens book Oliver Twist - read the book, then watch the movie, think about how Holliwood is controlled by Jews, and you will have a fascinating study in reverse propaganda, because the Jewish producers of the movie have cut out all references to Jews.

Because the jewish population of Germany appeared to have a lot of money at a time when there was many people starving and homeless in Germany - Hitler saw the jews as the cause of the financial problems because he and others thought that they were 'stealing jobs' when in reality, they just worked very hard and had generally inherited the family fortune. Through his propoganda he was able to convince others that if they got rid of the jews, then there would be less financial strain on the german families.

The more I argued with them, the better I came to know their dialectic. First they counted on the stupidity of their adversary, and then, when there was no other way out, they themselves simply played stupid. If all this didn't help, they pretended not to understand, or, if challenged, they changed the subject in a hurry, quoted platitudes which, if you accepted them, they immediately related to entirely different matters, and then, if again attacked, gave ground and pretended not to know exactly what you were talking about. Whenever you tried to attack one of these apostles, your hand closed on a jelly-like slime which divided up and poured through your fingers, but in the next moment collected again. But if you really struck one of these fellows so telling a blow that, observed by the audience, he couldn't help but agree, and if you believed that this had taken you at least one step forward, your amazement was great the next day. The Jew had not the slightest recollection of the day before, he rattled off his same old nonsense as though nothing at all had happened, and, if indignantly challenged, affected amazement; he couldn't remember a thing, except that he had proved the correctness of his assertions the previous day.
Sometimes I stood there thunderstruck.
I didn't know what to be more amazed at: the agility of their tongues or their virtuosity at lying.
Gradually I began to hate them.

He also was opposed to Communism. And the Bolshelvics something the states should have opposed also maybe then 7-10 million Ukrainians wouldn't have been staved to death in a year by the Jewish Communist Joseph David Djugashvili or known as Joseph Stalin. The Ukrainian Famine was real genocide not the holocaust.

using fact he blamed the jews for controlling the media and the financial business enterprise additionally he thought the jews have been in charge for the financial melancholy in the time of the placed up WWII era. If I have been Hitler, i might basically invade Poland, Czechslovakia and Hungary then end there. yet somewhat, he overextended over to Russia jointly as scuffling with French and British on the west and that's how he lost the conflict.

Hitler blamed the Jews for everything that was wrong in society, such as birth defects, inflation, unemployment, etc. When in actuality, Hitler was jealous and also threatened by the Jews because they were a faithful, intelligent, wealthy, successful group of people who were well-known and highly regarded. So rather than try and get along or compete, he chose to destroy them. Quite ironic considering Hitler was half Jewish!

Well, There are few ironies with Hitler and Jew.
Hitler hated Jews because that was what many of his counterparts felt during that time. There was not a particular instance of hate. It has been a racial discrimination blown out of porprotion due of Hitler's personality.
Jews during those period were hated because they shared a few priviledges and occupied few positioins and they used those priviledges to their advantage. The general public felt that germans were corrupted by Jewish blood.. It was just racial discrimination.
During Hitler's earlier career as an artist, It was few rich jews who helped him survive through his penury. It was also believed that he could have had a Jew as one of his anscestors. But Hitler progandised the general feeling of the mass population.

google "propaganda Hitler" and you should get lots of sites. Use the historical ones to glean your info. It will take a bit of reading and some time, but you should be able to get lots of info.
Hitler believed the Jews were sub-human - he also beleived it was possible to create a master race. He wrote a book called "mein kampf" that outlines his plans....
bytheway - all of his ideas were spawned because of his belief in evolution..... interesting
