HaHaHa, no way do teens rule American society. American society is ruled by the ones with the most clout and money. Only their microcosm, sheltered, world do teens rule. Why did Sony admit to targeting 19 years olds, its their TARGET buyers. The ones who will buy the majority of the product.

I'm not sure that a company targeting a PlayStation to a certain group means that that group "rules." All it means is that Sony knows where it is gonna make its kaish.
Teenagers can think they're the center of the world since companies market to them, but as you grow older, you realize that ruling is not contingent upon how much money you're willing to dump into electronics for your own personal amusement. It's more about how much of taxpayers' money you're willing to dump into your massive military.

I don't believe so. As teenager's, our rights are still limited. We can't do most jobs, because we have no training or experience. We can't vote until we are nearly out of our teens. Same with driving a car. We can't drink legally, and we can barely smoke. I don't feel that teenager's have much of a place in society, or atleast a very influential one. As a teen, I just don't see it.

No, big business tells teenagers what to like, who to like, and what is cool. Do you really think its some 17 year old running MTV? No, its probably some old Jewish dude who is laughing his @$$ off at how much money he is making off of you.
The media and big business run this country. That means old, rich white guys have all of the power. Sorry.

I'm sorry, is that your definition of 'ruling American society'? Who Sony markets a product to? I'm going to have to go with NO then.

Well if they did then we are all going to down the freakin drain. All you hear from teenagers is want want want and not work for anything. They think they deserve everything for doing nothing.

Sorry if this offends, but I think they think they do. I thought I was on top of the world when I was a teenager.

Somewhat. Their purchasing power is pretty significant, so retailers will cater to their wants and needs. But this treatment is not exclusive to teens.
