The word I don't like is "easily"
Nothing worthwhile is going to be entirely easy. If you just want to lose 5 pounds, drink plenty of water and eat salads and fruit for about 2 weeks.
If we are talking about 25, 50 or 100 pounds, a major undertaking will have to be put into effect. Life changes, attitude changes and dealing with problems will have to be approached differently.

Don't eat after 6:00, do exercise 3 times a week, drinks alots of water......run in the park.

the drastic way: avoid all fried foods, only drink water no sugary drinks, stop eating after 1800, no snacks in between meal, regular exercise, enough sleep, do at least 23 situps per day, no candy, stop eating after brushing your teeth after every meal; if you are that hungry during the night, go straight to bed;

take up jogging, once a day 5 days a week, increase in small intervuls and before you know it you will have lost weight, gained energy, and found a new hobby/love besisdes looking really good
