360 degrees all the way around, so every number is 30 degrees.

The distance from 11 to 4 is 150 degrees.

The minute hand will be on the eleven at 11:00, but will have moved one third of the way to the 12 by 11:20. One third of the distance between 11 and 12 is 10 degrees.

So from the 11 to the 4 is 150 degrees.
Subtract the 10 degrees the minute hand moved.
140 degrees is the answer.
