I think a lot of it depends on the age of your kids. I wouldn't say hid it or keep it away from yourself but you might want to keep it away from your kids until they are old enough to understand what you explain to them. Which when they are that would be the best way to deal with it. Sit them down and tell them how you feel and how it doesn't effect their relationship with you. but you've got to be you no matter who you are.

I'm not an expert, so I'll suggest going to see one. IMO, you sloud express yourself even around your children. You're not teaching them anything wrong, just like a mother who wears pants and tshirts isn't a bad mom. You'll need to tell them what's up though, and trying to explain that to kids can be a tough issue that takes some planning and reasearch. I've got cousins that are 6, 7, and 8 that I'm going to have to tell, and so far I've had no luck finding help online or from other transgender inndividuals.

You don't mention how old your children are. That would have to come into consideration. that much said I think you need to see a GID ( gender identity disorder) therapist. Believe me you will need one if you don't have one all ready. I can't say much more unless you send me more info. You can IM me on my 360 page. I am transsexual women who is post op. and out 24/7 for six years.

Do what would make your life feel fulfilled. It would probably be best if you kept it hidden until at least your kids are mature enough to understand, but do what you want. Don't let friggen bible thumpers and tran-phobics stop you from doing anything in your own home and life.

Check out your growing up years what outer influences would have caused this kind of thinking. It might be a better way try being 100% THE WAY YOU WERE BORN

Hmm...I'm a bit different on this one. I think that if the kids see it as normal on you then it won't be such a bad thing and it may also teach them tolerance. But I don't know your kids or their environment.

That is a tough call.
Kids know things that that we are not aware of.
Have you gotten any questions about what is in your closet?

Jesus said,"I have come not to call the
righteous, but the sinner to repentance".
Did you know...
God loves us so much He sent His Son Jesus
to this earth to pay for our sins so that
whoever puts their trust in Him will not
perish but have eternal life...?.. (Jn. 3:16)
Did you know we can be clean & free from
the burden of guilt & condemnation of sin?
Christ has called us to Himself so we
can repent of sin & be freely forgiven, and
be cleansed of all unrighteousness .
The Bible says, "If we confess our sins
He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and
to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".
Are you still living in sin? The Bible says:
The Lord is compassionate toward us
and very patient, not willing that any
should perish, but that all should come
to repentance. (2Peter 3:9)
Did you once know Christ and turn away?
The Bible says, the Son of God has come to
seek and save that which is lost. (Lu.19:10)
Jesus is the lover of your soul...
Will you return to him now and receive his
mercy and grace. He wants to set you free
from guilt & sin and give you perfect peace .
Pray this prayer:
Heavenly Father; I admit I am a sinner; I have
gone astray. I return to you now. Please have
mercy on me, forgive me my sins and wash me
clean. I believe Jesus died for me, so I can be
set free. Restore peace to me and give me the
free gift eternal life; I ask in the name of Jesus
Christ. Amen.
