It's the worst feeling in the world. I have experienced in high school. It feels bad, especially if your team loses the game. You feel responsible...
With the help of your teamates you can put it behind you and move on. It was hard for me, but I did.. cause if you bring it to the next game than it's more disaster.

i'v expeirinced this feeling but it was not in a big game
we were loughing becuase it was a fantastic goal
but once in another match, our attacker scored an own goal in a critical time and he was crying because of it
the problem in scoring an own goal is the reaction of the fans of the team.
because sometimes it is deadly like what happened to the columbian player that scored an own goal in the WC and after he returned to columbia they killed him

humiliate, like he betrayed his best friends, regretful wishing they could turn back time, going over it in their head over and over with what they could have done or should have done, especially he feels he has to make up for the oops.
