I really don't think it matters... I am a Gemini and my husband is a Libra... which means that we shouldn't be compatible... but we are. Also, every quiz that I have ever taken says that we are incompatible, and/or the worst match ever possible. We have been together for almost 5 years. And everyone that ever meets us always talks about how good we are together... So basically, what I am saying is: just find someone who you like, that likes you, and if it works, it works, and if it doesn't it doesn't. I was looking on this website and found this:

I would say that the opposite Sign, Pisces, is 'compatible' with Virgo because they complement each other. Virgo sees details and gives us our ability to discriminate, but it lacks the ability to see the Whole, the unity of anything. Pisces gives you the ability to see the Whole grand scheme of things, or anything, but it is very fuzzy and does not discriminate and see the details. So if you have a partner with your opposite Sign stressed, then as a relationship you two will complement and complete each other. But it's always risky to talk about the compatibility of isolated Signs because everyones' birthchart /nature is itself a whole and if for example you are a Virgo (as I am) and you also happen to be born with the Moon or other planets in Pisces, then you will have your Piscean aspect activated by that planet or Moon as well. You can't really go by your Sun Sign alone. Where is your Moon. They say that in a female, the placement of the Moon is more important than the Sun. For example, I have the Sun, Mercury (the ruler of Virgo) and Jupiter all in Gemini, but I also have a Virgo ascendent and my Moon is in Virgo. So I am something of a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I can be the life of the party or I get sick of socializing (Gemini planets) and want to be alone and go inwards - shy and retiring. So you really must see your birthchart as a whole and the other person's birthchart as a whole, and how they fit together. Go to Astrodienst on the internet and type in your birthdata and they will give you a free, complete birthchart and preliminary print-out of your natal chart and forecasts. The other compatibility notion is that the Earth Signs (Virgo, Capricorn and Taurus) tend to be compatible with each other because they all share this basic element of Earth
(practicality), and the Water Signs (Cancer. Scorpio, Pisces) are said to be compatible with Earth Signs, because the elements water and earth work together (ie., they tend to interact favorably with one another.

I'm married to a Virgo and I think you need like a Scorpio or a Pisces. A passionate sign to go with your more conservative one.
