I tape a sheet of paper on the inside of my medicine cabinet and write the date for new tooth brush, disposable contacts, etc. That way I can track how often I need to change. My dentist says to change a toothbrush when the bristles begin to widen and if it has a color=coded center area, when it fades out.

I change it every 2-3 months. You should try the brush by Oral B that has an indicator. When the brush bristles are half blue and half white, then it's time for a new brush. Also, I buy brushes 2 or 3 at a time, so they're on hand when I need to change them.

The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends changing your toothbrush every 3-4 months, sooner if bristles are worn. Replace tongue cleaner when changing toothbrush.

Every 6 months when I go to the dentist and he gives me a new one. Otherwise, I'd never remember.
