If its really going to upset you for other people to see the picture then take it out.
She should respect your wishes, plus it sounds like theres other pics of you in the group that she can show instead.
Just explain it to her.

Don't make a big deal out of it. Apparently she thinks it is a good one or she would not want to show it to anyone. I would just leave it alone and don't make a big deal. You can tell her that you would perfer if she showed another picture that you were more comfortable with. But dont steal a picture she paid for.

Give her another picture that you do like. She only wants to show you off because she's proud. Just tell her that if she wants to show you off to at least show off your best side--in a joking way. You don't want to offend her. Just get her a copy and she should understand. It's a woman thing.

I say leave it alone, pictures capture who you are, in your best or worse. It's just a picture and if the family likes you enough to show off pictures then I say let them.

Suggest to her that you will bring another photo that is more flattering, if she still says no let her know that you are not happy with her decision, if she is doing this to you now what will she do if you marry the guy. Tell your boyfriend what has happened don't keep secrets from him.

If you were not aware of her taking this picture, she has violated your personal rights, especially since she claims she'll show it to the family. It's a picture of you so you should have some say in who sees it.

be happy that she wants to show your pic to people and leave it be. Because if you take it she may get really offended.

I would tell her that you feel uncomfrotable with that pic..and explain why....go into detail with her....give her a picture that you are more comfortable with....they are proud of you....and their son....that talks in your favor! be proud! be honest and be understanding!
