Help my son spelled red kool-aid on my nice beige carpet and it has already set in. Anyone know what can be done my carpet looks ridicilous now and its right next to the door so everyone can see it ;(

I have NEVER been able to get out set in kool-aid. Neither could Stanley Steemer.........it's still there. There are some carpet repair places that can bleach and re-dye the carpet. A little costly though. Minimum for one here in TN is $100 to come out and repair.

I have white carpet and had same problem, use GOOF-OFF, and let it sit for about 7-10 minutes, it will not discolor your carpet, if a little pink still shows, reapply again.

If it won't come up with carpet cleaner. Use toothpaste. Also works good on clothing for spaghetti sauce stains.

Just use commercial rug shampoo and then rinse it with clear water -pat it dry and let it air dry.
