Pumice ... baby oil. Start using vinegar and baking soda before bath or shower.

First, if you can afford it, go and get a pedicure so you can start from scratch. Then make sure to maintain by using pumice stones on your heels and keeping your feet well moisturized, especially after bathing or swimming. If they are still dry and cracked, as others have suggested, coat your feet with a thick layer of Bag Balm, Vick's Vapo-rub or Vaseline and put some cotton socks over it, leave on overnight. After a few nights of this your feet will be in much better shape. If you still have trouble clearing it up or your feet bleed when you try to remove the dry skin, see a doctor-you could have a fungus or some other medical condition.

I have dry skin as well. I tried so many different lotions. If you have carpeting, don't walk without slippers.

While you shower try the rock but use it with body shower gel or rub your feet with soap first and then use the rock. It's less painful that way.

I use a brand called Vaseline Cream. It's in a tub and sells for about $5 at Walmart. It's really good. Make sure you put it on before going to be and after a shower.

i have dry feet also. a while back it got really out of hand so i had to start using a pumice stone in the shower to remove the dead skin. this hurts, but it will help you get down to the fresh skin.

once your feet are ready, get into a routine of airing out your feet after work (no socks around the house) and moisturize as often as possible.

The drug stores have a product called heel balm that really softens the skin. I would also use a pumice stone to remove dead skin but be careful not to go beyond the dead skin or you will have a second problem.

Go to a "Sally" store or any stores that specializes in beauty supply. They have this great product called "Heel to Toe." It works great and softens your heels and feet. You can also get other products for pedicure needs. At Sally, $5 for a membership for 1 year, and you can save a lot.

What kind of footwear are you wearing? Are you wearing nylon socks? If you sit your feet in the sun and let them dry out then apply some 100% pure coconut oil (I use Nui brand), you only need a few drops per foot, coconut has antibiotic properties, and it works. Luck

Exfoliating in the tub/shower is good. Try a "swedish file"; you can usually get them at big pharmacies in the foot section.
Also, what has helped me is 3-4 nights a week, I rub vaseline on my feet then sleep with socks on. It has probably been the cheapest, easiest, best solution I've found.

Get a professional deluxe pedicure first. Then maintain them by soaking them in warm water and baby oil a couple times a week. You can also buy special salts and things to soak them in, Walmart sells a couple of items. Then put large amount of lotion on your feet every night and wear socks to bed.

Yes. there are pumice stones, shavers, scrapers and such.. thick lotions can help. Keeping your feet covered can help the skin keep it's moisture. Check with your doctor as well.
