Just remember FOIL
- First.
- Outer.
- Inner.
- Last.

You should do this on your own and not rely on others help.
However, I'll do an example for you...

(2x + 3) (4x - 5)
First is 2x * 4x = 8x^2
Outer is 2x * -5 = -10x
Inner is 3 * 4x = 12x
Last is 3 * -5 = -15

Combine all four and you get:
8x^2 -10x + 12x -15

The equation simplifies to:
8x^2 + 2x -15

Practice these types of problems - you should be able to do them just like addition or subtraction in later courses.
Good luck.

1. this is a rule. Anytime you see this type of equation, the answer is the square of the first minus the aquare of the second. (a+b) (a-b) = a^2 - b^2

2.(4a+x) (3a-x) = 12a^2 - 4ax +3ax - x^2
= 12a^2 - ax - x^2
3. multiply the h^2 by the inner numbres. h^2 (5h+4)= 5h^3+a -h^2
4. (x+3)^2 = x^2 + 6x +9

1. (a+b)(a-b) = (a * a) + (a * -b) + (b * a) + (b * -b)

4. (x + 3)^2 = (x + 3)(x + 3)

these are pretty easy, especially 3.

use filo for the first two (first, inner, last, outer)

in the case of 1 its a*a +ab -ab+b*b -> simplify this to a*a +b*b
I will let you do the same to number 2

for 3 you just need to multiply h^2 by each of the items in the ()

4 just treat it as (x+3)(x+3) like 1 and 2.
