She had a long distance relationship for a year and half. She stays in a rented apartment for the past 2 to 3 years. All the while she had this impression that the apartment was owned by a family A.The tenancy agreement was signed between family A and her.But she didnt realize her obsessed exboyfriend had bought over the flat and watched her every move.He managed to get her long distance boy friend's email address, landline and also mobile number and gave him nuisance phonecalls. The long distance boyfriend broke up with my friend recently saying that she was a team with her exboyfriend and she was nothing but trouble. The long distance boyfriend's family also received a phonecall in their business number which she knows but knows for a fact she has not written it anywhere. But her long distance boyfriend and family thinks she is a liar and is the cause of the harassessment caused by her first exboyfriend she had no contact with.

How should she prove to them she is innocent?

She had already moved out of the apartment. She would definately want to file a report cos I advised her too..She want to prove her innocence cos she loves her long distance boyfriend who is adamant and refused to listen to her.He thinks she is responsible for all the harassment.

If she needs to prove it then there must already be some doubt as to her character.

If she has never given any reason to doubt her character then maybe she should doubt the character of this long distance boyfriend and his family.

Also property ownership is a matter of public record and should be accessible at the local court house. Phone records are very easy to obtain, and if this ex-boyfriend has a key to her mail box every aspect of her life is easy to obtain.

This is a stalker and she needs to report it to the police. Maybe if the police contact her long distance boyfriend and family for verification that these phone calls have taken place they will believe her.

First and for most she must move out of the apartment. Make sure that she does that immediately. Because the ex may have cameras or may have been in the apartment when she is not there. The second is once she moves out she should change all her numbers and file a restraining order as well as check the laws for how to handle the invasion of privacy in her area.

I think that she should file a police report for this guy getting into all her personal information. That should prove to her boyfriend that she didn't do it. She also needs to find a new place to live.

Document everything the stalker-exboyfriend is doing.

Call the police, let them know about the situation.

If he's doing things to impersonate her, you may be able to get something done by telling them that he's stolen her identity.

She can't unfortunately... OMG! Your friend needs to file a police report against her ex! He is crazy! Tell her to get pepper spray! She really needs to be careful.

Tell her not to bother with any of them. No matter what she says or may do they aren't going to believe her. Let her know that she must not think much of you, or she wouldn't be upset over her ex.
Her ex boyfriend's family has made up their mine about who is to blame. And they think it is her. She needs to forget about them. They aren't her family or friends any more.
