Right now compared to the past we have a lot of things availible to us now than people of the past. While these things are helpful and save us a lot of time, they create negative values.
So if we have it better, it depends on what type of person you are. If you believe in hard work,do not like laziness, and have those old-school values you could say we have it worse. If you are the opposite you would most likly say otherwise.

A little of both. There are certainly more pressures placed on them, but there is a lot they don;t have to worry about

worse less clean air, clean environment, green fields...clean rivers, they won't experience that
