Nope. Those photos should be destroyed. When me and my bf got into a serious relationship, I threw out all the ex pics. He did the same. It's just respectful. Why do you need to see your ex ever again.. unless you have kids with them.

It does not matter how much a person loves you there past is there past and you are not going to change that.. i have pictures of my ex's and so does my husband they are not hanging on the walls but they are in a shoe box in the closet.. if ur man got them hanging up then i would tell him put that crap away!

To make it simpler, let's presume that you are the girlfriend now and your boyfriend is keeping pics of his ex-gf. For me, it's not proper for him to do that because it would only remind him of their memories. But you should not ask him to throw them away. It should be him who should decide that it's better not to keep them at all if he really does not care for his ex-gf anymore.
Show him that you get hurt every time you remember that. If he really loves you, I think that it should not be a big deal for him either to throw them away or keep them as remembrance of his past. Just don't get angry at him because some people are really that sentimental not to throw pictures away. Don't ever think for your own peace of mind that he still loves her but if you learn that he really does, you better think twice whether you will stay or break off with him.

depends on the situation,were hey just a fling or a longstanding relationship?i tend to be a little"possesive" so i've been known to shred a few ex girlfreinds pics

I think that everyone has some things that they hold on to from previous relationships. I think it's ok as long as they aren't showing you or constantly looking at them.

Just because someone cared about someone else before you does not mean that they don't love you, and it doesn't mean that they should stop caring about someone they once loved, just because the relationship didn't work out. If it makes you uncomfortable compromise and have him/her keep them out of site and out of mind.

yes it is as long as that picture isnt sitting on there desk at work or hangin on the wall in there home taking the place of my picture.

ya as long as they arent pullin them out every 5 minutes i mean that is memories they have of their past now if u r married or seriously datin then they should put them away

I personally think its wrong and hurtful...I was in that same situation...My ex fiance had his ex gf all over his place and would rub it in my face...its very hurtful..it cause us to break up

YES DEPENDING ON WHERE THEY KEEP THEM. I HAVE PIC FROM A PREV RELAT LASTED 6YRS OF MY LIFE/ITS MY HISTORY
BUT I KEEP THEM DWN CELLAR IN A BOX STORED AWAY. MY BF OF 10YR HAS PICS OF HIS GF SOMEWHERE IM SURE ITS OK I JUST DONT WANT TO SEE THEM. BUT ITS PART OF HIS LIFE AND SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO KEEP HIS MEMORIES .
