How fake? Enough to fool someone. I don't think most people are so foolish. But there is some truth to the way we fake our lives. At worst we hurt ourselves and others, at best we are rehursing for a starring role.

Well I am amazed at some of the really, really, interesting questions people come up with here on YA, ...good job. This is a real difficult one, I am motivated at some level to say yes, they can, because at so many level they seem incapable of experiencing the "depth" of feeling which we women are able to, but who am I to say that? I really have no right to say that since I'm not a man, and therefor only know how it "appears" to me. I know that many times men who seem not to dedicated in a relationship, seem absolutely devastated when it ends, so there must be something there. Does that something constitute a relationship?
I know that I have in my lifetime met a few very sincere and loving men, who I believe were commited and serious about their relationships, so I don't think Mr. Shubert's quote would apply to all men, but definitely to some....but in all fairness it applies to some women too, they can do both; fake orgasms and relationships; albeit perhaps for different reasons.

I think it depends on the relationship if you are both playing each other it can be fake.

men can fake it too ; cagels can fool the woman too; just so you get off of her and go home; also when the balls are empty after doing her for hours; ie shootin blanks

i think anyone is capable of faking a relatioship...but why would someone do that? you must hasve a very strong motive
