I was just wondering because my surgeon asked me if I had any sexual trauma because a catheter wasnt able to be done during an emergency surgery/hospital stay.

They didn't get it in as far as I know. I was under anesthesia during it.

Did they get it in at all? Asking because they may of used a catheter that was to big. Might of tried to not look stupid in front of you. And usually a RN or a CNA puts a cath in. Might of been a little rusty. This is if you have had no trauma that you are aware of.

Any trauma that would mean obstruction to the passage of the catheter, including a tear (to leave a flap) or a growth due to repair to damage or disease.

I would imagine (not that I want to), it is something to do with a knock to the bladder or groin.

A punch or kick?

Maybe a fall.

Sorry, but being a guy kind off limits my knowledge.
