they do have formula, but as it has been said some mothers cant afford it ( why do they have kids while they cant afford to feed them i donno don't ask me ask them :) ) but even with mothers that can afford it they still breast feed coz it builds a really tight bonding from the mother to the baby and its internationally known that all formula milk they try to enhance it to match breast milk so why use the formula when you can breastfeed by the way breast feeding helps the mummy to get back to her former body and loss every pound she gained throw the pregnancy, i am really well off and i can afford the formula really easily but when i am gona be a mother i am not gona use it for sure i am gona breast feed for at least 2 years just to make sure that the baby is perfectly feed and well built and doesn't need me any more !

In most of countries is still used the breast feeding. Formula costs a lot and when you breast feed:
a)You drop weight
b)You got closer to the baby

It's the most common and natural way to feed a baby. It's done all over the world, not just in the Middle East.

Yep. That's how it works in most of the world, and has been for the past few million years. In the RARE case where a women REALLY cant breastfeed, other women in the community would help out (wet-nurses). I think that 90% of women who dont breastfeed in the US are either lazy, or unfortunally have to go to work too soon. Most women could breastfeed if they really tried (but hey, isnt it more convenient to be able to drink, smoke, eat crappy food, and have other people feed your baby instead of bonding and offering him/her the best food possible?)

How do you think that babies ate for thousands of years before formula was invented? Formula is a new invention, and breastfeeding is still MUUUUCH better for your baby.
