Just read Wicked. Great book though i am still trying to figure out what the dragon clock was all about. But it definitely made me take a second glance at Dorothy.

I thought Dorothy came out as someone who got caught in the middle of politics. The wicked witch was just misunderstood.

I read "Wicked" and "Son of a Witch" immediately afterwards. I recommend that you read "Son of a Witch" if you aren't clear on the Dragon clock. There is a very interesting bit towards the end that I think would clear things up for you. I don't want to give it away here, but it is great book and definitely worth reading.

Yup, even met the author, producer, composer, saw the play, XD. I'm just lucky. Anyways, Wicked was great. Now that you've read it, you should try his other books too. They're all wonderfully, masterfully written. The dragon clock...yeah, well, it tied in in the end, It had alot to do with fate and how 'the supreme' being has a hold on EVERYONE in the end. No matter what you do to try to change it....I think. It's late. My erm. Philosophy of books (something I prize myself in) is a bit uh, shallow. I guess, it's pretty late....yeah. That's about it.

I read it after I saw the play and found out that it was really different. I was a little disappointed, but it was a good book with concepts that made me think twice. Go to Wikipedia. They have an explanation of it that will clarify a lot. It was a good book, good enough for me to have ordered it's sequel. Happy reading! I hope you enjoy it.

I love that book! It was very different from the play! The book made me hate Dorothy though.

I read the book and was totally dissapointed. It seemed like nothing happened and we didn't learn anything really. I just sold my copy on eBay. I saw the musical about 2 weeks ago. It was amazing! IT IS TOTALLY BETTER THAN THE BOOK!!!! The songs are fabulous, the show is funny and it has a different ending than the story we know!

You should see the musical, it's much better than the book.

How was the dragon clock unclear?

Were you drunk-reading?

It's always fun to see things from the villain point of view, and that things aren't always what the appear to be.
