Don't know what I did but all of the icons have disappeared from the desktop, how do I get them back?

search your c:// (cdrive)for the shortcut link....most programs have backup shortcuts,,and enable it back

Right click on the desk top and select arrange Icons.... then show desktop Icons

Right click on blank space on your desktop and choose "Active Desktop". In that list make sure "show desktop icons" is checked.

go to the desk top by moues and right click select arrange icon by and then select show desktop icons

right click the desktop
go to the top menu
click show desktop icons
if it is allredy checked then hit f5 or sometimes the check can reverse meaning
if its a mac then thats a bigger problem
