A coup d'etat is simply a violent overthrow and supplanting of the existing government. So the only condition you need is a group of conspirators willing to take on such a task. What the government has done or not done is of secondary importance.

Coup d'etat = Checkmate

To overthrown a government - you need to win an election on major issues.
To militarily overthrown a government - you will need an army that is loyal to you, and believes in your issues.

To overthrown any government - you need to start planning in your kitchen - the logistics, the funds, the support organization, the communications systems, etc etc.

In the past, there have been independent groups that have tried to do this - eg Fidel Castro, and many leaders in Africa - and they have succeeded.

There's lots of work, commitment, risks and rewards.

Are you fit for this?

depends on the power youre overthrowing. are you having thoughts of this? well, try & keep them to yourself because as soon as you try to make up any plans to do so, you will be guilty of sedition - its a crime so cleverly placed in our law to keep the coup d'etat from happening. If I assume correctly about our gov't, theyll call you a terrorist for doing so also. Personally, whenever the government starts removing basic rights from the people, then its time for coup d'etat.

Some of the basic requirements for an environment conducive to a coup are: a lack of confidence in the current government.'s ability to solve economic and security issues, popular support by a large segment of the population for the party wishing to take control, cooperation with key members of the government - especially military and court officials.

You would need a cause to unite the people, such as communism. Then you would need to get a large supply of weapons and some people to serve as troops, preferably with some military training, then march on the provisional government and seize power in petrograd, Russia is ours! Or at least that is what happened more or less in Russia.

I would suggest you do research on the Cuban revolution, particulary Castro and Guevara. I would imagine this would suffice for coup d'etat.

Give me a break. You don't know how good you got it. FYI, the government does not outsource jobs, corporations do. Second of all, this is a democracy, if the people want the government out, they VOTE it out.

A sudden and decisive change of government illegally or by force?

Sorry, I live in America. It's free.

And what you suggest is against the law.
