Primarily for safety reasons.
How about:
"Would hydrochloric acid taste good on your snack?"
That would send a clear message to anyone reading your poster.

Mainly it is because when we are doing lab experiments, some chemicals may get on the the lab table. Many of these are toxic. We can't be 100% that all the chemicals are cleaned off the table, so there is a chance if you put your sandwich on the table, it might pick it up!

Chemicals/solutions can easily get mixed up w/ food. If u happen to spill a chemical and it gets in your mouth while ur eating, then this poses a huge problem. That's why it's best not to eat at all. It also may cause accidents. A spilled can of soda can cause someone to slip and fall while they're carrying glassware or some stuck gum can cause another issue.

Chemicals in your body.

Eating in class.
Not good either.
but we all do it anyway.
The real question is who would be dumb enough to eat stuff during labs and experiments?
