this **** is utterly ridiculous. 400+ years later, racism still exist. why? why? why?

today, i just read on yahoo news that a bus driver in louisiana made the black kids sit in the back, some with other kids on their laps. WHAT KINDA **** IS THAT?!!! and that fiasco called Hurricane Katrina, let's not get into that. what kinda **** is America smoking?!!!

i am a black man who recently served in the Marines. while i was fighting to defend america & it's citizens, people are still wrestling with racism!!! was this is what i was fighting for? it made me believe that some people have nothing else better to do! why don't these racists M.F.s pick up a gun & head to Iraq since they have nothing else better to do!!! it makes me angry to see that some **** ain't changed. yes, we've came a long way... but we've got a ways to go.
and btw, racism (= ignorance) has no color. if you'd join the service you'd understand better.

Damn! i'm glad i got my passport yesterday! **** this ****.

racism will always be a problem as long as their is an economic difference between races.

Here is the thing about that, as far as being in the service is concerned, a black man will generally act like he owns that boys white ***! Racism exists cause there are problems within the races. Mexicans crossing the boarders for example! Why can't more people pick up a gun and head to protect our boarders? That **** is illegal and stupid! So, there ya have it only two examples but truth just the same. America needs to clean up the act and quite frankly there are just some races that aren't a contribution to society! There are problems with all races.

While i agree that racism is still a large deal, i believe that it is not one sided in any manner. I have never thought a racist thought in my life, yet every day at least once, i have some person of a different background call me a cracker, or some stuff like that. Nowadays, i think that the mirror has flipped and that African Americans are attacking whites more than the other way around. And by the way, why the H*LL did you serve for this country if you have such a problem with it?

I'd just like to say that I agree with you 100%!! My husband is in the Army and is in Iraq. My parents live in the heart of racism in Baton Rouge, LA. The sad thing down there is that even some of the blacks are racist against other blacks. That area is still fighting segregation with the schools. My mother told me of a woman at church...AT CHURCH!!!...that made a comment that "she didn't want her grandchildren going to school with those N****rs." It disgusts me and my parents both. They have been trying to leave the area for over a year now but once you reach your fifties nobody wants to hire you. I think one of the problems is ignorance. They say "ignorance is bliss"...I say F*** that!! There are too many uneducated people in this country that believe that only they are right. My four-month-old son is half Mexican and if I hear another comment about illegals I'm gonna scream. This country is a melting pot of many different ethnicities and people just need to grow up and learn to accept that fact. BTW, thank you for what you do and what you fight for. I wish many people would join the military and shut the f*** up. Thank you!!

damn ignorant people...only place more tolerant is Canada. If you think its bad in US, you should travel more. Cultures are ok with others until they are a part of the family. Most people are sociallized to racism and aren't born that way. All it takes is a small mind that infects a young mind with anecdotes or bullsh{t, add some humor and repeat till brainwashed and you have the next generation of bigots. Do you realize that only caucasions are called rascist...I've never heard of a non-white person being called a rascist...some reason it doesn't apply. Visit Asia and see what a mixed race child must endure before forming your final opinion...

Hey why don't you come visit my town, we have monuments to Nathan Bedford Forrest (founder of the KKK), and a couple of other confederate generals, in our town that were built about 10 years ago. You'd love it here. The black people have their own little racist club too here in a bar, but it isn't that large and there aren't enough people of any other ethnicity to be of any significance.
Hey Kanye West, could you explain how the hurricane situation is racist? I have yet to find someone that can, but to be fair only a half dozen or so people have tried, and they didn't explain it very well.

Though people might be generally less racist where you are headed, don't expect it to be a utopia where everyone gets along, as it won't be.

It's lack of understanding and acceptance. People who speak the same language have difficulty understanding each other at times, how much more if they speak different languages, practice different religions and come from different continents, countries, cities, even cities in the same country. Discrimination as a whole is still a big issue. Why? People fail to understand and accept one another.

If you recall racism ebbed about the time of 9/11. People were hating Arabs. Guess the sheep need to hate someone! If we could just channel it in the right direction we could get some good out of it!

Do you really believe you came along why you've come a way but not a long way. They just do things a little different know. Racist people are born that why

Because its easier to try to inflame hatred and fear towards a "group". Politicians, preachers, KKK, Black Panthers, al Queda, extremeists of all sorts try to mobilize opinion by using "groups. look at the border issue which has turned into immigration which turned into racism.
