Walk for a week, then gradually start letting him go by himself. If he wants to go by himself earlier thats fine. That should start getting him used to going to school. Also see if you can find someone who you can be friends with their. That way its more likely both your kids become friends and should calm his nervousness. Im no expert this is my opinion.Im just a 14 year old boy giving his opinion.Good luck!!

Walk with him on the first day.
The first day of Kindergarten is usually a pretty special milestone for your child. He could be nervous and walking with him may help him feel more comfortable.
He can walk with his friends on later days, but be with him on the first day!☺

Let him make the decision,, ask him what he would like,, make him feel important. Also depends on if you mean to the class-room or down a street,,, in this case you walk him.

It depends if your son is shy or if he wants to go on his own. Most parents would want to walk their children, but the best thing to do is ask.

let him walk in by himself with the other kids. it will be too stressful with you going in there with him and if he starts crying, which he probally will, then it will tug at you all day.
