I want to accept credit card payments. Are there any companies out there that have no monthly fee?

I just built a website that is currently just able to accept paypal payments right now. I want to give my buyers more ways to make payment. Is there any company out there that will get me setup to accept credit cards without a monthly fee?

I know they charge a fee each transaction, but I'm looking for a company that doesn't charge a MONTHLY fee.

Credit card companies charge the vendor a fee for each credit card transaction. That's why some smaller restaurants and stores have a minimum amount you can use a credit card for. Credit card sites aren't gonna eat this fee plus they want to make a profit so There is probably no company that does credit card transactions for free.

You can accept Credit Cards using PayPal if you sign up for a Business Account. There is a transaction charge, but no monthly fee.

No company would clear your credit card transactions for free; Visa, etc. charge all companies that accept their cards on a per transaction basis. Google checkout has a feature similar to Pay Pal, and if you are an adsense client, they will discount, or remove, the charge to accept CC payments, but you need to use their check out, and the discount depends on how much you spend on ad-sense.

Paypal has a no month-to-month fee decision. in case you have chose to settle for by way of your internet site, even with the shown fact that, there could be costs for that (not sure).
