You have to hook up a modem. Either the simple one or a wireless router that has the modem bulit in. And you probably need to install software. Everything should be coming in the mail from AT&T.

They will send you a packet with the modem, filters , software and instructions. Usually they tell you in advance what day you will begin receiving service. Once you install the program your sbc link will be on the desktop. Just click on it and you will know right away if you have service because you will be on the internet.

Not enough info. You're on the net, so you must have some kind of connection. If there aren't any modem lights in the lower right corner of the monitor and if all the lights on your dsl modem are green, then it's on there.

they will call you on the day they activate it.
you will receive a modem in the mail with software and instructions.

usually they will send you a installation packet with a modem to connect. or you could check for the quicklink on your desktop.
