Is it possible to put an electric guitar string to an acoustic guitar ?

Just go to the store tomorrow morning and buy the strings that you really need.

Electric guitar strings are too thin, you won't be able to get the acoustic sound out of the guitar, it'll sound like crap.

of course its possible as long as its not a nylon string guitar which will ruin the bridge. Yeah its safe it just might sound alittle different.
