No doubt whatsoever. They think if a have a few people like Clarence Thomas in office they can dispell that image. They can't. It's true.

Does anyone remember that Lincoln was a Republican and Southern states voted Democrat exclusively for almost a hundred years after the Civil War? Although you may think that the Republicans have a stranglehold on racism, you have to remember that Democrats are the "traditional" racist party. That didn't start changing until the Democratic party started changing in the 1930s.

Are you really kidding????? All these high power politicians ,in both parties, live in gated communities.Do you really think you would be invited to the Gov. ball without an invitation..lol...Both parties are the same .Vote for the person not the party.Vote the incumbents out and get new life and maybe a little more honesty.

People in both parties have been guilty of this same kind
of thing. How about Democrat Jesse Jackson and his
hymetown remark? How about Democrats calling Pres.
Bush "Hitler"? Can't get much ruder. How about Democrats
saying we're the enemy? That's almost treasonous. The
list goes on and on, but I'll stop here for now.

Let's see, who's a conservative out there that hold High Offices in the government?
Clarence Thomas
Condoleeza Rice
Colin Powell (used to be)
High ranking black Democrat/liberal officials:
none
but Robert Byrd, former Grand Buffalo (or something like that) in the KKK is a prominant member of the Democratic party.
Let's not forget Michael Steele, Republican and black. Liberal democrats threw oreos at him at a campaign appearance.
So lets look at your gross generalization and ask ourselves, "who's racist here?"

I guess you are one of those people who think only white people can be racist. Do you ignore comments by Black politicians that are racist? What about the ones who surround themselves with the new black panther party, or even the rainbow coalition?
Racism can be found anywhere you look. Sometimes it is really racism, and some times people turn it into racism.

The GOP is only the most recent home for racists. For nearly 100 years after the Civil War it was the Democratic party. But then again who else would such small minded people support. God, Guts and Glory.

yes, their is some doubt
I don't believe any party or race has the exclusive use of racism
I have met racists republicans and democrats, I have met racists with light skin and with dark skin
I am not a republican but I would hardly award them the party of racism when their are so many strong contenders for the title

Well Senator Byrd of West Virginia was in the KKK. I do not think that any party is the party of racists, I think that there are racists in both parties.
