JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter saga. She dared to dream and wrote her now famous novels. She demonstrated that being smart, brainy and bookish is also cool.

Barbara Walters would be real good. Thats a hard question though. What about Olivia Newton John..just because I know shes been through alot and I just have always liked her.

In general, not an entertainer, that's a different world. Pick an executive or a teacher, please.
Children have no idea of the hours of disciplined practise it takes to become good at show biz, and they think the show is real life.
It takes entertainers hours to get back down to themselves - when they do!

Thats a hard one. I don't think Barbra Walters because no offense she's to old to be a role model for young girls. I think a lot of people will say Hillary Duff and such but I would disagree because she lacks substance and intelligence. I really can't think of anyone

I think Oprah is a good role model. She has done so much for the world. She is a well rounded person.

Me. I have always been a good role model for my daughter and her friends. I have been very active in my children's life, have a good time with all their friends, manage to work raise the children and be there for everything with very little complaining. Always the taxi, always have a smile, and love to joke and laugh with the kids.

A great role model for any women are the woman soldiers in the arm services. they are powerful, full of pride and they would do any thing to keep us safe from harm. In my eyes they are my roll model and my hero's, I wish all young woman look at what there doing for us and and pray for our powerful woman
