Is it common to bleed a few days while on the pill? I've been on it for about 16 days and I've been bleeding for about 5 days now. Nothing heavy but spotting alot. Do I have anything to worry about. I'm not sick or anything but I'd like to know. Mean comments will be reported

I wouldn't worry about it. You have only been on the pill and new hormone to your body 16 days. It usually takes 3 months for your body to adjust to the pills. Many women will have breakthrough bleeding for the first few months. Give this pill a chance before you make any changes.

it really shouldn't be anything to worry about...things like just starting on the pill, stress, or missing a pill can mess ure system up sometimes. I suggest going to www.justanswer.com. They have helped me out when I had worries about my birth control. Hope that helps you out some.

i would recommend you going back to your doctor. breakthrough bleeding could very well mean that this pill is not strong enough for your system, and you could get pregnant. a lot depends on how long you have been taking this pill, if is this your first month on it, or if you have been taking it for a while. again, consult your doctor.

hmmm i am not a doctor or anything of the sort but i was on birth control... one explination i could give is that birth control does alot of wierd things to your body and it may take a couple months for your system to straighten out... but if you think that it is more serious than that i would definately call a doctor.
