Unfortunatelly, you'll have to remember that even though they taught you in kindergarten to play nice and get along, it's much different in the real world when you grow up.

Who are "we"? And what exactly is it about the Middle East you want to end?
What strategy did you have in mind? Take care of the Middle East like America took care of the Taliban once and for all? Like America took care of Saddam once and for all? Like Israel took care of Hezbollah once and for all? Or maybe you would just nuke everyone and everything.
Or do you actually favor a just and peaceful solution? America, and America alone, has the power to bring peace to the region. Persuade Israel to accept it's internationally recognized borders and let the Palestinians at least get 20% of their country back. If Israel refuses, cut off the $3 billion they get in US aid every year. Give a third of that to the Palestinians to help them build economic infrastructure. That would be sufficient to show America truly is an honest broker. Neither side would be happy, but most Jews and Arabs would be willing to settle for the sake of peace. The extremists would lose their popular support. The war on terror could be scaled down, and billions more US taxpayer dollars could be saved.

End what? Our involvement in the middle east or end the middle east? Either would be counter-productive.

I saw a cartoon a few days ago - -- it portrayed a reporter overlooking two warriors aiming to kill each other ... the reporter says : "There is a possible conclusion to the middle east crisis .... the last arab and the last israeli are about to battle" ... note that the reporter says POSSIBLE conclusion ... haha...

Absolutely! Let's take all the Jews back to Polland and Russia, or lets give them a piece of land in Argentina or Australia, or lets give them the whole Alaska.That way they will have their country and the Palestinians will recover the land where they always lived in. I deserve the Nobel for this!

From your lips to God's ears!! It is way past time I think. The destruction and horrific acts occurring in the Holiest of lands makes me ill. We should let them alone to kill each other off and send our kids home where they belong.
