PC Faxing means that you have to scan the document your faxing to the PC and you'll have to set up the fax on the computer. Meaning you'll have to type in the number and write who its goin to and such. Standard faxing like from a printer means that you dont need the computer to fax. its like having a regular fax machine. you'll punch in the number and info on your printer and it will send from there. Not really a big problem from the PC, I got on and its a breeze, just a few extra steps.

There is hardly any difference. But it pretty much it works like this, you can type a document on the computer and send it without printing or use a scanner to send something. when you use a fax machine you have to have a printed copy of the paper and you have to buy a faxing machine.

There's no paper involved in PC faxing. You can set up an electronic document to be faxed to a fax number. No need to scan it in paper form. It's paperless.
