I think so, we have to run, pushups, situps, do alot of running and such. So whats your view?

Do you think it's possible to get a scholorship while being in JROTC?

The program its self is not a sport. Rather it is a higschool program designed to prepare highschools for ROTC or the academys. As part of the training you do alot of physical activities, but no it is not a sports.

No. Just think what the letters stand for-- Junior Recruit Officer Training Command. Those activities you spoke of are only a small part of your JROTC. What about drilling (marching), map reading, leadership instructions, and if possible, marksmanship instructions.

JROTC is an elective course. Physical activity does not equal a sport.

I think that it is definitely a sport because you are doing physical activity. If they don't believe just send them to military basic training :)

It could be if you are classifying for required school courses. But in the real world, no.

just because ur doing physical stuff does not make it a sport! is pooping a sport???
