Just a while I ago I received an email from Youtube saying that a video I uploaded was infringing on a copyright. I'm not sure if the complain came directly from JASRAC or not because the title says DMCA complaints.
It appears Youtube has taken the video down, but I don't think it's been completely deleted, because it still shows up under "My Videos".
Anyway, do you think I'll be facing legal action? Or is this notification just required form they send out when they take down videos?

What you got was a preliminary notice of your infringement of their copyright. Not completely removing the copy is infringement, and they can start legal proceedings in the Federal court.
It is probably not worth the time and money "fighting city hall'. They most likely have deep pockets, expensive attorneys, and time on their hands. They could choose to select to judicially beat you over the head in order to show other infringers that they mean business. All they need is one fresh corpse to impress your colleagues or competitors in the business. That there are two business entities in the correspondence, is not fatal. They could be owned by the same business entity. Or it can be an errorthat can be corrected, or refile while you continue to infringe their copyright.
Hope that helps.

I don't think they can take any real legal action...they're just informing you that they will delete the video...
