The Jetsons is set in the future. In one of the earlier episodes George mentions the great Race War of 2012.

My theory is that the racist creator of the jetson predicted that in the future, black people would either be eradicated from existence, or deported to africa. What they didn't know is that once reaparations kick in WE WILL OWN THIS PLANET!!!!

well my dear ,first off it is a cartoon .but seeing as you ask a racial question,me being an indian why arent there any indians on it ,or for that matter on the tv series Sandford and Son why arent there any white people ? W e have to deal with all the segregation dear ,it is all a part of life

It is hard to animate with brown paint and not seem racist. It looks like you are doing black face and that is a bad thing.

they were with the times...not many appear in early cartoons...well not any positive images....and plus the flintstones never had any either
