how can I chat in hotmail messeger?
Do I have to download anything for that?

yes download messanger from messenger.msn.com then make an account in hotmail and sign in and add friends and start chatting note. chat rooms are for only subscriber customers.

Windows live messenger? Yes, you have to download it. But you can use the web version if you like.

yes you have to download msn messenger and have an account at either msn or hotmail. www.msn.com
