In the Sex and the City episode "One" during the sixth season when Carrie first goes to dinner with Aleksander "the Russian" what resturant are they in?

Its all red downstairs, anybody know? Its downtown I'm guessing........

All I know is its a Russain Tea House or Room Bar...

Is it the one with the 3 am dinner and he gives her a banana to put in her purse? I think it was called the Red Room. I might be wrong.
