My best friend and I like the same guy. His name is Matt and he is 12 and my freind and I are only 10. We no that we will never go out with him but we really like. Sometimes we get in fights but they are not big ones. Soo should I be worried about our freinds and should I even be crushing on the guy? Help Me !!!!!

No friendship is worth losing over a guy. When I was 16 my friend and I liked the same guy and she told me to go ahead and go after him, I did and it didn't work out. But my friend and I are still friends and she ended up a few years later introducing me to the man I am married to now. So maybe secretly crush on this guy but don't let it get in the way of your friendship.

U shouldn't loose your friendship over a guy, I mean it's just not right. But u can like who u like-and so can ur friend. It's not going to be as easy as it is now when u get older it gets worse, trust me. Then there are real fights-and believe it or not they stop being friends. Sometimes the funny part is when the guy liked neither of them!:-)
but my point is-u can like whomever u want to like. It's natural for even friends to have a little tiny argument over a guy-but don't let it get out of hand and u2 stop being friends BC of him. It's not worth it! I say this because eventually most of the time elementary crushes don't even last through middle school. So don't sweat it, and don't make a big deal about it. :-)

sweetheart, i've been there, done that! lol, someday you'll look back on this and laugh about it. have you seen the movie aquamarine? both the main characters have a crush on the same guy, but it's a healthy crush for both of them. they oogle at him together and daydream about him together. if you don't like him seriously, then there's no need to fight about him. plus, i'm sure he's just a temporary thing until you get real boyfriends of your own. besides, you're only 10! there's no rush to start dating yet! hope my advice helped.

Both back off and find different people to have a crush on. Friends interested in the same guy always end up on crappy terms.

You should crush on whoever you want to! but just remember that you should never let a guy come between you and your bestfriend. I mean thats realy stupid Just let things happen cuz everything happens for a reason i guess. Well good luck with whatever you wanna do!

i know you don't want to hear this, but you're too young for this guy drama. when you add boys to any friendship, it really begins to stress out both you and your friend. its fine to have a crush, but you shouldn't fight over something (or someone) you don't need at this point in your life.

10 wayyy to young, if he's 12 he's already matured in ways you haven't, ask your parents, and you may not be ready for whats in store....a thing called pre-teen hormons.
