according to the bible it was. Methuselah lived for 967 years or so.
Noah's dad was born before Adam died..... yes, that's right.
ok, that being said, here's the thing. I think it is possible. Science laws tell us that everything descends into chaos, therefore we can hypothisize that the gene pool is actually DEgenerating from it's original perfectness, which would follow that men of over 8000 years ago or so, actually may have lived alot longer.

interesting question

I don't know if you are christian but I asked the same question to my pastor and he pointed out this scientist Dr. Carl Baugh...Look him up he has some interesting views on it...In a sense it is about how before the flood of Noah the earth was different in atmosphere and pressure and this made us live longer...just a suggestion but good question

Moses was apparently 800 years old before he died however I don't know if they measured time the same as they do now. God gave me a certain number of time to accomplish a certain of things. I am so far behind that at this rate I will never die!

well my experience with the Bible is limited, but those people lived to be that age and better. now in these day we are living on borrowed time. besides there was nothing to eat but fruits and berries. the whole bible is fulls of untruths and lies anyway[sorry to ruin your day] but you live and learn

Not any more.. since people sin so much. Perhaps God punish people by reducing the years of living...
