I remember my first day as a freshman in high school. It was ok. Just stay calm, be friendly and be comfortable. My high school has 2 other districts that go to it. So I was meeting alot of new people. Just smile, feel like you belong, and act approachable. When you meet new people give them a chance b4 you make a decision on if they are good friends. High school is a great experience in your life. Cherish it. Get involved in clubs and sports. Get good grades but remember to have fun. Respect older students. haha one kid yelled at a upperclassmen and lets just say got something unpleasant dumped on him. Respect them. if you get lost dont freak out and ask a friendly person for directions. Most schools have an orientation before school starts. Some supply you with maps.Have fun and be calm. Good Luck

ull probraly be called freshmen like ..... well alot throughtout the year
nothing big just like ohh their goes a freshmen or look at the freshmeat things like that dont be nervous if u have friends that r going to the same h.s talk to each other and set a place to meet the first day so u can go through it together and like at lunch also so u find out where to get lunch and stuff....
some schools r different but if they post up ur first class or they tell u to go to a certain class pic up ur schedule just make surre u get their early so u can find u class and other classes if its possible so u font get lost ............... Good luck

-Don't try to hard to act cool. People will be nice to you if you are just yourself.
-Don't think that everyone hates you, because no one is really thinking about freshman. I know, it is easy to think that everyone is looking at you and no one likes you. but honestly, they have better things to do than to just think about who they hate.
-Don't try to cause drama. I mean, you are out of middle school, act like it.
- Do not wear ripped jeans and an Abercrombie shirt because you want to make "a variety of friends."
- Do not slick your bangs to your face and wear "bracelets" in you're ears because you think that you're Hood.
- Sex doesn't make you cool, and if you do have sex don't tell anyone. Nobody cares, really.
- You are a F-R-E-S-H-M-A-N.. not a "Freshie"..
- Don't think you're smart because you filled up water bottles with vodka and snuck it onto your 8th grade field trip. We've all done it.. so don't be proud.
- Don't try the Emo scene. Just don't do it.
-Don't be afraid to make new friends. You can hang out with so many different people. But if people try to avoid you, dont keep bugging them
- Don't try to act older than you really are. The way you walk, dress, and talk just has freshman written all over you.
-If you are black, hispanic, etc. WE GET IT, You love your country! Thats peachy but dont make everything a race related issue
-PLEASE NO MORE XXXXL shirts and ridiculously baggy pants on skinny white kids, nobody likes white chocolate. Allow me to kick you in the face.
- If you are going to try and rebel, it most likely won't work.
- Don't be a slut. This should be the number one rule.
- DO NOT crowd our halls like cattle
Believe me---You can't win. Have fun being a freshman...for a fun-filled year
I know, that sounds bad. It was mainly a bulliten going around myspace that i copied and pasted, but i changed it a little so it didnt sound as bad.
But really. The upperclassmen really dont care that much. you aren't going to be bullied or made fun of just because you are a freshman, so dont worry!

your a high school fresman. I am too. I just left you an answer on the hair tips, part two. For the first day of school, my hair is going to be straighten. My mom is making me get a relaxer :( I guess you can get your hair done at the hair salon, or just do something simple, but nice.

don't be afraid to ask for help, stay out of the way of the older kids, and always do your homework.
join extracurriculurs, make new friends, and enjoy! it's only once that you can say "sorry i didn't know, i'm just a freshman... ;]"

College or High School? General or specific?
Relax, learn, meet people, take advantage of the education you are receiving.
