well...are you just an employee of a company or are you an owner?

If you are an owner you can buy a linksys vpn access point.
Set the access point up at your work, it will all two simultaneous connections. Follow the instructions on the box.

If you aren't an owner then good luck. Your company most likely has a firewall. Any internal things you do to your computer will be blocked and you will be unable to access the computer regardless. There are usually policies to deter this from occuring.

sounds like you want to access your work e-mail at home.

if thats the case find out what e-mail service your company uses (Exchange, Groupwise, firstclass ect...)
and see if they have web access. if they do then all you need is the web address for the mail server...put in your username and password and you are good to go... work e-mail at home...

if you want to access files and such on your work computer you'll need to activate remote assistance but your company may block that to prevent viruses and hijack attempts... using any of the above mentioned software is a good choice, only if you are allowed by your work place to use it. Speak with your boss or technology admin to find out what you need to do that...or even if you can... good luck...

One way to do it is to get a program called PC Anywhere. You can get that one and others similar to it at almost any store that sells other types of software.
